On Friday, BNT News dropped the pics from the photo shoot Suwon recently did with them, and OMFG, I felt like my soul was going to leave my body. Suwon looked amazing and was so ridiculously hot AF.
They talked about there's been a second golden age of Suwon. He was an idol, but now, he's managed to become a trend, a popular go to guy for variety shows and CFs. Of course, he was asked about acting and went into working on 미생물 (Misaengmul). I think he was asked about what kind of role he'd like to take on, and I think he said that he'd like to play a murderer, and if he really did say that, then hell yeah because that would be so hot. He was also asked about Sechskies, and he said that everyone is doing well and that they still get together for drinks every now and then. They asked about his plans for music, he was like IDK, but I'm like where's that new J-Walk album you mentioned that was coming out this year?
I did love how the interview ended with a "괜찮아요," though, lol.
The new jTBC show 박스 (BOX) premiered last night in Korea, and it was a big deal (at least to me) because it was Tony An's first television appearance in nearly two years.
So each episode features a group of celebrities trapped in a room; a countdown clock will appear on the floor, and they have to come up with some sort of game to determine who leaves the room and gets kick out of the competition.
In addition to Tony, Kim Sook, Yoo Sangmoo (who I think is hot AF but can't stand at all), Ex-KARA member Nicole, and Jinwoon from 2AM were also on it (plus a bunch of other people who I either had seen in stuff before but never cared enough about to learn their names or just did not know at all).
But I was not here for any of those guys- I was too crazy pumped for Tony's TV comeback~!
The first game involved shooting a basketball into an overturned box. It seemed simple enough, but everyone had a hard time on the first try until someone figured out how to get it in there successfully.
Tony, however, failed again to get it in on the second attempt. So, he "practiced" for his third try, LMAO.
Well, I guess it actually helped because he was able to make a basket and save himself from elimination before the time ran out.
The last game Tony was involved in before he lost had the remaining contestants split into two groups. The captains of each team had to pick who they wanted and Tony got picked last, lol. They then measured either their chests or hips. The numbers would be added up, and the team with the higher number would win.
Tony is a small man, so he tried to buff himself up a little bit...
But he is also a fragile old man, so he hurt himself...
He was the last one to be measured, and yeah, he was tiny- his hips were like 88 centimeters around while his chest was 98 centimeters.
The old fragile tiny little monkey man was eliminated, and he had to leave the room.
But there was a twist and the losers had an opportunity to affect who won the overall game out of the remaining members.
TBH, this is an interesting concept for a game show, but as I've been saying, I really only watched this because of Tony. No one I am interested in is on next week, so I won't be watching it. However, as I mentioned in a previous post, Jaeduc and Taehee will be on an episode later on, so I'll definitely be watching that one, though.

He was afraid to come out on the show, but he did a great job. I'm so happy Tony is back~ Too bad he didn't win the bed to help with his insomnia, though.
On Thursday, we got a new episode of 더맛샷 (The Matshot). Let's see what happened...
So from last week, we still have Heejun and Taewoo on the black team and Suwon and Thunder on the white team.
The episode started off with a series of games. First, team members had to feed their chefs jajangmyun while blindfolded.
Gotta have that danmuji with it, tho.
The white team finished first and were off to the next game- guessing what was inside one of those metal delivery containers, and they quickly got it, so they moved on to yet another game.
Meanwhile, Heejun wouldn't run so it took a bit before the black team got to the next game, LMAO.
But Jingon guessed correctly on his first try, so they were able to move on in no time. But of course Heejun continued to slow them down, lol.
The third game involved each member of the team flipping stuff in a pan. This was harder than it seemed, and the white team couldn't do it on their first try, so the black team got a chance. They did it no problem and won.
I'm not sure what winning the challenges meant, though, since I wasn't paying close attention.

Both teams then went shopping for ingredients and had some prep time in the kitchen.
Then they just messed around campus, trying to get people to show up for the food truck battle.
The black team went around to some dorms but were hard pressed to find anyone answering their doors (it was during the day so I'd assume kids were in class, wth).
Imagine Heej showing up and knocking on your door. Now, that would be a literal dream come true for me, but for others, I'd say maybe not so much.
The white team hit up some classrooms (smart idea). Like they walked in on an acting class, LMAO. The students got to meet a true thespian, the one and only Jang Suwon, and were blessed with a short performance. They made Suwon act out a scene as a blind man, and everyone was shocked that he was actually not that bad.
Finally, it was time for the big battle.
The white team were up first.
It was amazing that they could get any work done with the dinguses heckling them on the sideline.
Accidents happened. Suwon dropped his rice cake thing, lol.
But they were able to put together a presentable dish.
Thunder cooked that egg thing on the right in the microwave, though.
The black team got right down to business. Being on the same team, Heejun and Taewoo couldn't distract each other, so cooking went on without a problem.
It was super close, but the black team won, three to two.
More importantly, Taewoo was finally on the winning team~
신서유기 (New Journey to the West) has finally started. Five "episodes" were unveiled like an hour ago, and amazingly, it's subbed on the V app, so go watch it through that if you're interested (just search for "new journey to the west").
Of course, I watched the videos, and I have to say, so far it's pretty funny. Like I only recently have gone back and started watching 1N2D season one, but I'm familiar with the cast outside of that, so watching New Journey wasn't very awkward for me. Many lol's were to be had nonetheless.
Since it's an internet show, they have a lot more freedom to say or do what they want. As such there were quite a bit of references to Lee Soogeun's gambling scandal, but it was all in good humor and was pretty lulzy each time.
The part where they're at the restaurant before departing for China had me really cracking up. Hodong starts talking about the weather in China and how there should be a lot of variation, like how in some places it'll be cool, but everyone is like it's summer so it'll just be hot and hotter. But then Jiwon goes into this thing about how the closer to sun you are the hotter it is, so it should be hotter up on mountain peaks. Someone's like, "then it should be hot on the airplane," but then Jiwon is like, "nah, they turn on AC to keep it cool." omg.
Then Hodong didn't know what Dragon Ball Z was and said that he didn't use Kakaotalk because it let's people know that you read their message. LMAO.
As you can tell, there was some good stuff that happened.
Okay, so last night a bunch of articles started popping up and going on about how H.O.T were planning on reuniting for their twentieth anniversary next year. Of course, those claims came from someone within the industry, not a member of H.O.T.
This "news" even made it to the English-language Kpop sites. But this was literally after Korean news sites had already contacted reps for H.O.T, and they have not bothered reporting on any of the follow-up articles.
Heejun and Tony both responded with somethings along the lines of "this is news to me." So straight from H.O.T, they have not been planning anything yet.
Hardcore H.O.T fans are not even worked up over the rumors.
H.O.T getting back together remains just a rumor.
To be honest, though, I am fairly certain that H.O.T will do something special for their twentieth anniversary since it's a big one. Whether it will be concerts or a new album, IDK. But they can't just let 2016 pass by without giving the fans something.
But I won't believe in a reunion is happening until it actually happens.
It's all a waiting game now.

I mentioned the same thing on tumblr earlier, but I was always like "I’ll believe in a g.o.d reunion when I see it with my own two eyes," and while I was speaking figuratively, I literally did see it with my own two eyes, so I'm having good vibes about H.O.T.
