18 Seconds Episode 1

SBS' new viral video show 18초 (18 Seconds) premiered on the 11th over in Korea, and I watched it solely for Kim Jongmin.

The show is based around the premise that people only pay attention for eighteen seconds to videos that they may come across while on their smart phones. IDK how accurate that is, but the competitors on the show must create eighteen second long videos and then, I am guessing, they need to try and gather the most views on their creations.

In addition to Jongmin, Sistar's Soyu, EXO's Chanyeol, Kim Nayoung, some British dude, a comedy team(?), Bong Mandae, and Pyo Changwon (who apparently is a criminal psychologist) are also participating on the show. But I literally just skipped through the episode to parts with Jongmin, so I really don't have anything to say about the other guys... other than that they suck and Jongmin is producing some genius videos, hahaha ayy B-)

I already posted about the videos Jongmin made back when they were originally uploaded, and I have been wondering what the format of the show would be like. It turns out that the show followed the participants as they made a few of their videos, with commentators (Lee Kyungkyu was the only one I recognized) in a studio going back and forth checking on the eight as they worked.

I assume that following episode will continue to show the competitors making their videos until it's time to judge them and see who got the most views (it will probably be Chanyeol, LBR, cos ya know, EXO).

As I said though, I was obviously only here Jongmin, and he was entertaining as usual. And, of course, very cute~

They used Pepsi... SMH... It's Mentos and Coke, Jongmin >.>

If you're interested, check out the episode over on Dailymotion (part 1 & part 2).

Look at this sexy son of a bitch

Look at him. With his gross ass hair and hairy legs. Looking like a disheveled mess.

Look at my ultimate fave.

Hot as fuck, dude.

Literally any time I think about DyDy, I immediately start to also think about the song from the following clip...

So play this video and just stare at the pics and feel the Andy love.

Rising! UP10TION Episode 3

Episode three of 라이징! 업텐션 (Rising! UP10TION) was released earlier today, and I watched it. So let's talk about it.

At the end of the last episode, the boys had just arrived in China. For this episode, they meet with a martial arts teacher, who shows them some stances to get them started.

It was a bad day to wear jeans...

The teacher then shows them a move to take down an opponent and has them practice on each other.

Sunyoul is supposed to take down Wei...

But Wei is no match for perceived weakling Sunyoul...

They continue to pair off...

This is probably going to be a useful technique when they need to deal with overzealous fangirls.

And have a good time...

The teacher leaves, and the boys play that one game where you have to knock the person you're up against off balance.

Xiao decides that he wants to take down the intimidating Kuhn.

Intimidatingly cute.

Kuhn loses and Xiao next goes after Hwanhee.

But he then loses to Hwanhee, who then chooses Jinhoo...

Who takes advantage of Hwanhee gloating and wins a round. But then he picks tall ass Wei to go up against....

And Wei dispatches Jinhoo.

Humiliated.

Wei then picks Bitto as his next opponent.

Who then picks Kogyeol...

Who then goes up against Sunyoul...

But Sunyoul wins, lmao. Nice.

Gyujin gets a chance next...

And he also loses to Sunyoul, lol.

Wooshin, who is supposed to be the visual of group, eventually gets some screen time, going up against Gyujin.

At least he wins his round.

The episode ends with the group going to a street market to do some sort of food mission.

Where they encounter less than savory treats...

The boys also participated in the Idol Athletics Championships this week with the rest of TOP Media.

And just for the hell of it check out my main man Andy...

Thank u 4 the boybands~

Shin Ji on Escape Crisis #1

On Monday, Shin Ji appeared on 위기탈출 넘버원 (Escape Crisis #1).

It sucks that KBS World stopped uploading it because this show is pretty useless and tedious to watch without subs.

But at least Shin Ji looked good and was adorable as ever B-)

Getting pumped for Sweet Temptation

I have already let my feelings for T-ara be known here, so it shouldn't be a surprise that I am excited for their upcoming web drama 달콤한 유혹 (Sweet Temptation).

However, I'm not just excited. I'm super pumped because my boy Jang Suwon is appearing in it as well~

I'm still trying to come up with some kind of joke involving "Sexy Love" and robot man Suwon.

To be honest, Suwon starring opposite Qri is kind of weird to think about. But alright. It would have been lulzy if he was paired with Soyeon since he's good friends with her IRL BF.

And of course I am worried about what his acting will be like. I hope it's not too melodramatic and he doesn't need to be very serious. Let's be real, we don't need this to happen to again.

Anyway...

Things got even better tonight as I also found out that my other fave, Kim Jongmin, will be making a cameo (and Hyun Woo, whom I will forever love from Human Condition 2, is in it too). So yeah, I am so crazy pumped for this.

When the web drama first got announced, it was supposed to air in September, but it apparently got moved to October, so now we have to wait a little longer to see it all play out...

I will wait patiently, though...
