Rising! UP10TION Episode 7

The last episode of 라이징! 업텐션 (Rising! UP10TION) aired today :(

We started off with the boys filming themselves while they were shooting album photos, and they were so ridiculously adorable.

What was with Bitto's aluminum foil hatchet, tho?

We also got to see some dance practice and a little bit of them filming the "So Dangerous" MV before the episode ended with the boys back in the practice room, answering fan questions off SNS...

Okay, so Kuhn is officially my UP10TION bias.
Just look at how adorable he is!
OMG...

The fans reliving were amused by Kuhn's reaction to eating the spicy scorpion in China, so he had to eat some spicy noodles for them.

Then Gyujin had to channel his inner sex kitten...

Next fans wanted Sunyoul to arm wrestle a member. He picked Xiao, but he lost...

We need to protect smol bb Sunyoul, not have him do feats of strenght against his fellow members.

Then Kuhn was tasked with giving the balance game from episode two another shot with Wooshin.

Fans also wanted Kogyeol to do another free style, and it went... well...

Get Kogyeol on Show Me the Money 5.

Revisiting what happened on previous episodes was a nice way to end the show, but I'll still miss watching the boys every Tuesday.

You can watch the episode for yourself here.

They also just appeared on KBS' Stardust Music Video Bank.

Their debut showcase will be held on Wednesday, and it can be streamed live on the V app~ I probably won't watch it until it gets subbed since it's streaming at 7 AM for me, though.

Other shows I watched over this long weekend

I still haven't watched Coolyote on Sebakwi for some reason but I did watch Same Bed Different Dreams on Saturday and Escape Crisis No. 1 earlier today.

For the 500th episode, Escape Crisis No. 1 brought on former hosts and cohosts for a two episode long special, and of course, I'm watching it because of my two faves, Jongmin and Jiwon.

Like sixteen guests were invited on all together, so there wasn't a whole lot of screen-time available for either of them. There was a good amount of Jiwon, nonetheless, but that's because Jiwon has more of an aggressive personality. Jongmin looked so good, though, and it was a shame that such good styling got wasted on this show.

I think KBS World started subbing it again, like they put up a subbed episode on Youtube yesterday, so I'm hoping this ends up getting subbed soon. If it does, then I'll write more about it after I watch it with subs.

I made gifs of Jongmin and Jiwon looking cute already, too...

He was dancing to Turbo's "My Childhood Dream."

Look at him go.

I wasn't going to post about it, but then I was like, why not...

I watched Same Bed Different Dreams again. This time because Jongmin was on it.

And again, Jongmin looked so good but got hardly any screen-time.

This show is so boring to watch without any subs, so I mainly fast-forwarded through it. TBH, I would never go on TV to try to solve personal problems. Like IDK if I would really want advice from Jongmin.

A part of me would get married on a Korean TV show if it meant that Taewoo would sing for me.

Oh, yeah, Taewoo was also a guest. LMAO. wth.

Tony updated his Weibo

So Tony updated his Weibo.

Nice.

Hell yeah another UP10TION teaser

TOP Media dropped another "So Dangerous" teaser.

Still really like what I'm hearing, and they look adorable~

Only a couple more days until they finally debut~!

Finally a solo comeback from Jun Jin

I'll start off by saying that when it comes to Shinhwa solos, Jun Jin's body of solo work is my favorite after Andy's, so I had really high hopes that Choongjae would drop some superior jams (as in something as good or better than "Wa," TBH).

Unfortunately, we did not get another super jam like "Wa." "WowWowWow" starts off really good, but the rest is kinda a disappointment. However, the more I listen to it, the more it grows on me, and the whole "lookin' at, lookin' at, lookin' at you" thing is very catchy. The MV is alright, a little too dark, but Jin looks so good in it. Moreover, I'm very interested in seeing his live stages. Jun Jin is still a good dancer, and the dance looks pretty sweet in the MV, so his performances should be super hot.

TBH, I only started listening to Shinhwa because I thought Jun Jin was super hot.

#REAL# is not anywhere as good as his last mini album, Fascination. On my first listen, I couldn't help but think that the whole thing was not very memorable. Unlike other artists, though, it does have an opportunity to grow on me since I'm a Shinnut.

"60 Seconds" is definitely my favorite song and will be going into regular playlist rotation for me. My next fave would be "WowWowWow" followed by "On My Own." "You" was pretty meh. "너만 있으면 돼 (You're the Only One I need)" is ballad, so at first I was like, "ewww," but it's actually kinda alright (it may just be because I really like Jun Jin's voice, though).

Eating Pringles with Pringle hair.

I think Dongwan is coming out with his solo later this month, so I gotta start getting pumped for that.

Tony is on Instagram now

Ayy, Tony opened an Instagram account~!

The first photo he posted was from his fanmeet this weekend (which corresponds with H.O.T's nineteenth anniversary).

The photo I attached to this post, however, is from MC DingDong's Instagram, as Tony's uploaded version looked like shit. But MC DingDong remarked that the fanmeet had a bright, pleasant atmosphere and that he was touched by Tony's apology to and gratitude towards his fans.

Now two-thirds of H.O.T are on Instagram, and I hope Tony is more active than Woohyuk and Jaewon, though.
