A 90s special on Running Man

On August 16th, Running Man aired a "Million Seller" 90s special featuring g.o.d's Joon, Cool's Lee Jaehoon, Clon's Koo Junyup, DJ Doc's Lee Haneul, and Kim Gunmo. But I only found the time to sit down and watch it literally two and a half weeks later. Nothing against those who like it but watching the show feels like a chore, so I kept putting it off.

However, as I just mentioned, I did finally watch the whole thing, so I do have some things to say about this episode.

Look at them.

Gunmo's fucking hat, LMAO.

JAEHOON IS SO FUCKING HOTTT. I was so pumped that he was invited to participate. TBH, if he and Joon were not on this, I probably would not have even bothered watching it.

Gunmo is like a year older than Joon, but I always think he's like sixty-something. Nonetheless, Gunmo is always funny as hell. I wish he popped up more on shows. Maybe he does and I just never hear about it, IDK.

The episode didn't really pick up for me until the end.

At some point, the teams had to opportunity to call a friend, and they'd get more points if that person would come and participate in a game.

Jaehoon was like, "let's call Heejun," and I was like, "hell yeah."
But Heejun was too busy practicing for his his concert, so no Heej :(

The blue team called goddamn Sungsu, lol, and OFC, Sungsu would show TF up.

Junyup brought this up too in the middle of everything...

Wat.

DJ DOC really did roll hard back in the day... Didn't they call Baby V.O.X prostitutes, too, WTH?

But, LMAO, the red team called Changryul, and I was like ayyy~ (since he is my DJ DOC fave). Changryul was a reliable choice, and they were able to pull off team jump rope.

Then Sungsu showed up, and I just knew he'd fuck it up.

And he did, right from the start...

OMFG, Joon.

And all the way til the end...

Unfortunately, the blue team won in the end anyway. Not sure why I'm like "unfortunately" because I really did not care, but Joon and Jaehoon were on the red team, so I guess, yeah, I was rooting for them.

I know fans of Running Man often complain that the show blows whenever they invite guests on, and I can sympathize since I hate when guests get invited onto shows I regularly watch (though, TBH, 1N2D handles guest situations pretty well). But I don't watch Running Man unless one of my faves is going to be on it, so IDK if I'd find it to be any more interesting when it's just the cast.

They always seem to invite way too many people on, though, and it's hard to give everyone proper screen-time. Like I got barely any Joon. There was a good amount of Jaehoon, but basically, Gunmo carried the episode and was the main source of the lulz.

It was similar to last year when they did the new and old idol special with HOTSECHgodRG- too many guests were on and the new idols, who shall not be named, were boring AF, so Heejun literally had to do all the work to make the episode actually entertaining.

Watch it for yourself over on Youtube: full episode here and parts one, two, and three of the next.

Tony on Box

So another 박스 (BOX) trailer was uploaded earlier, and Tony's in it~ Albeit, barely.

This will be Tony's first legit TV appearance since 2013, so hell yeah B-)

For some reason, I was under the impression that it would be the same cast each episode, but that's not the case.

And I can't stand Yoo Sangmoo, so he's messing with my good Tony vibes rn.

WE GOT AN UP10TION TEASER!!!

TOP Media dropped the first MV teaser for "So Dangerous!"

I liked what I saw, and I liked what I heard, so I'm even more excited for their debut now (IDK how that's even possible tho).

Okay, so Kuhn became my fave a couple weeks ago, so OMFGGG.

I don't like Kogyeol's hair.

Xiao looks ok.

Sunyoul is still adorable AF.

Bitto looks the same.

I HATE WHAT THEY DID TO GYUJIN.

They couldn't screw up Wooshin.

How did they get Hwanhee to look so manly???

Jinhoo is looking good B-)

It's just Wei.

I so fucking pumped for these bbs to debut!!!!!!!!!!

Look at my sons.

I should have mentioned this before but the boys also had a broadcast on the V app, go watch it (part one and part two)!!!

LAST Episodes 9 & 10

It's a little (more like a lot) late, but let's talk about episodes nine and ten of 라스트 (LAST).

These two episodes heavily focused on Straw Cutter getting out of prison and the effect it had on Seoul Station and the relationships between members of the Seoul Seven. A whole lotta shit went down...

More Tony & Kangta

We got video ~!

Tony is looking pretty good, TBH.

THIS IS RIDICULOUSLY PRECIOUS!

Rising! UP10TION Episode 6

It's Tuesday so it's time to talk about the new episode of 라이징! 업텐션 (Rising! UP10TION)~!

Teen Top's Chunji, Niel, and Ricky were back again, and they were competing against the UP10TION boys in various athletic events.

The first battle was between Chunji and Niel and Jinhoo and Kogyeol.

UP10TION fighting~!

It was a balloon popping game, and whichever team popped the most balloons between themselves won.

Teen Top won with nineteen balloons popped, compared to UP10TION's 11.

Next up, it was Ricky against Xiao and who could lift their foot higher on Wei's body.

Surprisingly, Ricky won.

For some reason, they also kept playing "Hey Mickey" whenever Chunji and Niel made Ricky go out and compete against UP10TION, lol.

Ricky was up again, this time against Wei, and it was a long jump challenge.

Wei is tall so everyone thought he'd do well...

But he jumped like the same distance as Ricky, and Teen Top got another win.

Ricky got a break, and Chunji and Wooshin had a sit up battle.

Of course, someone had to start singing the song from Secret Garden and everyone had to join in...

But in an upset, Wooshin won!

Once again, they made Ricky be the Teen Top rep, while Gyujin went out for UP10TION.

This time they had to punch through boards...

Gyujin only got through two, but Ricky broke five, so it was yet another Teen Top win.

However, UP10TION then had a series of wins...

In tug of war, Kuhn easily brought down Ricky...

And Hwanhee was able to best Ricky in push ups.

Even Sunyoul beat Ricky...

The last event was the fifty meter dash.

And it was Chunji vs. Bitto~

It wasn't much of a close race, and Chunji easily won.

UP10TION had a total of four wins, but Teen Top won overall with six.

We then got to see the boys go into the studio.

Teen Top's Changjo was there waiting for them, and TBH I did not recognize him at first (dang, I haven't paid much attention to them in a while, I guess... Changjo is really growing up, SMH).

We got a little tease of them recording a song entitled "Never Ending," and I would assume that this may be their debut jam. I'll save my judgement for when it actually drops, though.

In the next episode, we get to see the boys preparing for debut- attending photo-shoots and filming their MV. But this will be the last episode, so it'll be kinda sad.

Also, we finally got a debut date~!

My poor boys here tho, WTH. Their make-up is so terrible that I had a hard time recognizing them.

September 11th.

I hate to say it, but at least I'll never forget their anniversary.

And go subscribe to their new official Youtube channel~!

Rising! UP10TION hasn't been uploaded there yet, though, so watch the new episode here.

Have some laughing Wei before you go, too.
